Why Essential Oils?

Essential oils have been around forever, but only in the past few months have I gotten a little better acquainted with what they actually are. My daughter was really the one who passed on her research and knowledge to me of how to even use them. I have been using Acai Berry oil, known for its antioxidant properties.

Their history goes back 3000 BC, and the use and results, when properly applied, have been trusted since then.

"Long used in cosmetics, most essential oils used in make up and cosmetic products have an anti-microbial and anti-bacterial property. The reason for this is simple. Essential oils are extracted from plant parts, and the properties that fight off bacteria in the essential oils are the same properties that prevent the plant, while living and growing, from becoming infected and dying. It's all very natural for the plant, but the benefits still exist when extracted from the plant."
